DMCA Copyright Policy

PDFTEQ (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512, we respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
This policy applies to all tools, services, and content available on https://pdfteq.com and related subdomains.
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide a written notice including the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on PDFteq (URL).
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- A statement: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner."
2. DMCA Counter-Notification
If your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its original location.
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
Required Statements:
- Misidentification Statement: "I declare under penalty of perjury that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
- Consent to Jurisdiction Statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which PDFTEQ may be found. I also agree to accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent."
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant. If no legal action is filed within 10–14 business days, the content may be restored.
3. Repeat Infringers Policy
PDFteq reserves the right to terminate user accounts or block access to our services for users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright laws. A repeat infringer is generally defined as a user against whom we have received two or more valid DMCA notices.
4. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
